Part-time ASL Interpreter for the Phoenix VA Regional Office

Job Description:
Position Description: Job duties include providing ASL Interpretation services on an as-needed basis (a minimum of two hours) for hearing impaired Veterans Administration employees and customers at the Phoenix VA Regional Office. Services will be scheduled no later than 24 hours prior to the service date and will occur during the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
Required Qualifications:
-Over the age of 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
-Possess reliable transportation to the service location
-Relevant ASL certification or education required (NAD, RID, or ASLPI; Please provide copy of certification with application)
-Experience performing ASL interpretation in a medical setting is highly preferred
