In order to be effective in its statutory obligations under the implementation of SB 1092, providing the Arizona Legislature with recommendations on future language related to the language acquisition and literacy readiness of deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind newborns, infants, and children, The Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing has established a task force that is composed of diverse community members and partnering agencies. The community members and partnering agencies assist with understanding the current language acquisition standards and will advise where improvements can be made.

All full task force meetings occur virtually and livestreamed from ACDHH's YouTube channel: youtube.com/AzCDHH
