DeafBlind

Family Services

Relay Conference Captioning (RCC) is a service provided by ACDHH between the hours of 8am-9pm Monday-Friday and 8am-2pm Saturday (AZ time) and it is paid for by ACDHH. Only residents of Arizona who have hearing loss may use Relay Conference Captioning. RCC is not to be used as a substitute for CART, C-Print, or Typewell. RCC is to be used for multi-party teleconference situations. It must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and is subject to approval by ACDHH and availability of captioners. RCC is not for 1:1 phone calls. For 1:1 phone calls, please use captioned phones or captioned apps. Cancellations or event changes must be received within 24 hours of an event. Please reply to your confirmation email to cancel or change your request.

One of the best features of Relay Conference Captioning is that hard of hearing or Deaf people can use this service at no cost on any device! Live captioning for conference calls is possible through a laptop, computer, mobile phone or tablet.
